Things Around V

Big park to the north; big park to the west. We always go to the Westside park to walk the dogs. I’ve meant to go the the other park and I did skirt it my first day in Gyeongju for the job interview when I wandered around in the winter sun for hours exploring and waiting for my train.

Today Meow and I passed through on a whim walking back from Hwangseong-dong on the other side of the river. There is this little hill in the middle of the park with lots of stairs and a statue of a dude on a horse at the top. (No English sign was seen, so all I can say is he looks “dudely”.)
