Polish Thy Bathroom

Thursday | September 6th, 2012

It looks like we might see the end of this fiasco learning experience. The final touches are in the bathroom this week as well.

The missing hook has appeared (above left). The toilet has water (above right). The water lines are installed (below left and middle), but everything needs cleaning and polish for that new bathroom shine.

The faucet we picked and paid for has been installed although Meow likes the old, wrong one better. I think I like the wrong one better too, but the wrong one wasn’t at the shop where we picked our stuff and they insisted we pick a set and not just for the sink (the sink and shower faucets were in the set). But that’s the beauty of it being our house, if we don’t like it, we can change it.

I wondered about this funny panel (below) not having caulking. It seems loose. Maybe, this is like a just-in-case the bathroom goes flooby and it’s easy to knock out this panel and sort things out. Or maybe this is another Gyeongju oopsy-daisy.
