Day 78

Tuesday | May 15th, 2012

Man, what a beautiful day. Yes, I had to work early and being a Tuesday (a.k.a. an Idle Hands Day) it’s also Excel Workshop Day. The workshops don’t kick off until after regular classes end at 17.00, so I have four hours in between. Normally, I try to get something done, but sometimes I just idle in this untime.

Last night, I wasn’t able to do the dishes before turning in around 04.00. Knowing that a big mess (which included donut manufacture) would taunt and torture poor Meow until I could roll home around 19.00, I used today’s dab of untime to come back to the flat and took care of the dishes. This made for a great walk in the high of the day. Going to the office never looked so nice …

There was lots to ponder as today is the ten-year anniversary of my arrival in Korea. I had intended to drink with friends, but I forgot to make friends and have them celebrate with me. Tonight may be better as a drink alone and think about things night anyway.
