Work into the night, sleep into the day. The more things change, the more they stay the same. To each his own. Can do, will do. For shizzle. With a cherry on top. Vacation, smaycation, workation, worknation.

I feel like I should care about this sleeping until five o’clock crap … but I don’t. It’s my life until I get up and realize I’ve gone and founded myself a family in the last couple of years. Meow is used to this crap. The dogs? Twitchy and Naughty blow gaskets because they think I’ve been off somewhere outside doing something importantish-like. They jump up and down and lick me and wag their silly tails and it’s like I just came home all over again.

How is this going to work if someone hands us a baby?

It’s not. Up late for up late and sleep late because dreaming is better than living and resting is better than being, it’s all gotta stop. In the future, in the future …
