Day 664

Back in the summer time when it was hotter than summer and I did things, I found this giant grasshopper (top) hanging out on the window of a building I was in. I guess he was just trying to get out of the light. I can’t think of another reason a giant grasshopper would cling to an inside window on the 4th floor.

Yesterday was the shortest day and things are supposed to perk up now and the days are supposed to get longer. Why does it feel colder, darker, and more dreary then?

Tomorrow is the first day of TOEIC. I’m in charge. Maybe that’s no surprise. Fat with ideas I was after the last camp. Sometimes you need some fools to shanghai you onto their ship to grow a fresh crop of ideas.

We’ve lost NW, a.k.a. Nag the Mighty Woolgatherer. He was rotated out to the lands department beyond. He was replaced with the Kan-do Kid, (henceforth known as, KK). KK’s newness to all things TOEIC and MS’s second winter departure for Thailand, left no ass-kicker in the equation and I really didn’t wanna see some self-serving bag run things again. So I pressed forth with the “improvements” from the last time around, a fat bag of “suggestions” to make an end run around everyone. What have I learned thus?

Temper temperament tides the temperature from temptations to tumult and torture.
