Day 57

Tuesday | April 24th, 2012

Tuesday I spent the afternoon tutoring someone through Excel Hell. One of the things I’m supposed to handle at work is software training. While I’ve been making the motions to give a full on workshop, the necessary equipment isn’t coming around, so I may end up just working 1:1 or 1:2 with people. Either way works for me; both have pros and cons, but since I managed to barter for the necessary VGA cable to run feed from this laptop to a projector, I was excited about doing it presentation/follow-me style.

Tomorrow is ‘Go Explore Gyeongju, Part II’ and just thinking about it, I got excited. I started looking reviewing the RAW shots from last week and picked three I liked to process in Photoshop. Given that the iPhone has a fairly decent sensor, I notice I’m not as tolerant of the edge blur and distortions that the S70 creates when shooting. I can take it because it’s the only RAW camera I have on hand, but in the long run, I know that this will not do. No, sir, it will not.
