X

I gots the 80s on my mind today. Not sure why. When I woke up (at 10.31 because this heat sucks), I started thinking about Benson. Then I tried to remember what happened when Benson and the Governor ran against each other. Then I couldn’t remember what happened next and wondered if the show was cancelled after that episode.

Here is where life has completely turned itself inside out from how things were growing up. When I was a kid or even a teenager and had all these pesky questions, maybe they got answered, maybe they didn’t. Maybe I would read an article in the newspaper about Benson being cancelled. Maybe someone who saw the season after would tell me about it. So many questions fell away to bewonderment and, eventually, forgetting. A few years ago, I’d think about this stuff and try to remember to look it up on the internet when I got home. Now, everyone just grabs their phone (above).

Yesterday, we came out of the house to find Twitchy inside the fenced garden. I thought it was pretty funny and Meow was really pissed because Twitchy trampled all of her plants. But, how cute, the Jindo absentmindedly jumped the fence whilst chasing a moth, butterfly or some bee.

Today, Meow had me look outside and see Twitchy again in the fenced garden and it wasn’t funny anymore. I chased her out with a bamboo stick and she panicked and couldn’t figure out how to get out. She hurriedly slipped under the fence (!) and took out some of the brick wall (hero image, top) in the process. When fixing the bricks and reseating them, I checked the fence and discovered the dog had been slipping under the fence a lot. This led me to insert more bamboo poles into the fence and secure it so a neurotically skinny Twitchy wouldn’t be getting into the garden and wrecking Meow’s plants.

The Daily Bullet

Later, Dalki (El Gato) was brought back to the hood by his caretaker and her friends. He has to stay at his own house for a few days.

Daily Report

I didn’t sleep last night. I struggled to write or create a script that would grab an .mp3 from a folder, open it, insert markers in pre-determined places, split the audio file into eleven segments based on those
