Day 503

Sunday. Things to do. Laundry. Make TOEIC tests. A short list of other things I couldn’t remember or wrap my head around on Saturday as a blunt throbbing headache seeped its way into my head and stayed with me all through the day while I slept. And I slept good—except for that damn headache. And the damn heat. And the damn sweat. And the short bursts of sleepdom that were always interrupted by one of those things.

I got up after 17.00. It had rained. Not much; not the rain that rainy season promised me, more of teasing rain, spurts that had to come down after the teasing thunder of yesterday. It was cooler, just a smidgen and only noticeable if you were outside, which I had no intention of being. Things to do and all.

I went straight to work on all the things I didn’t do yesterday—a list now much clearer in my head even with a persistant headache. I even remembered to take the headache meds I’d spent yesterday forgetting to take and in a few hours was pain free. It’s sickly to imagine, but I could have felt this way yesterday.

I worked through the night, preparing for Monday and Tuesday. I forced myself to go to bed around 05.30, but the damage was done and I played games on my phone until the second alarm went off.
