Day 485

Rinse, repeat. Today was identical to yesterday but with three key differences:

  • It stopped raining, so Meow and I took both Twitchy and Naughty for their first walk in almost two months. Twitchy was her usual sort of unmanageable self; Naughty enjoyed it much more than anybody. You wouldn’t think the little dog would get the nasty case of cabin fever, but that’s pretty much how it works around here.
  • Heat related hard drive issues and heat related system funkiness forced me to reboot and verify the Dropbox drive twice. I thought my set up was great, but putting the music folder and the Dropbox folder on the same external drive is completely unadvised for hot summers without AC. I did get a big block of work done eventually …
  • Two days into the camp and it’s starting, the yahooism. On Saturday we had a meeting and agreed on which days I would run the testing. Within a few hours of opening the test schedule someone was asking for a test on a non-testing day.

The Fourth Wall

I’m here and alive. Ten days behind the reality of my written life, yet here and alive. TOEIC is the predominant motif of life from the end of the semester until … today. This is the end, after
