Day 473

Friday | June 14th, 2013

I tried to watch some Apple commercial this morning while I was getting dressed but YouTube did what it always does: play the first 32 seconds of the video then stall hopelessly and never load fully. Some people go on and on about YouTube or post videos that they like, but every time I go to look at something it’s the same shit and while I’m sitting there waiting for the rest of the video to load, I get to watch ads.

Gee, yeah, YouTube, fucking awesome. No. It sucks. I’ve never seen anything other than Gangnam Style play without complaining. Why do people sit around and wait for the computer to do stuff? These are the 2010s and waiting for YouTube is too reminescient of waiting for an AOL page to load circa 1997. I could fire YouTube, but I don’t use it enough because it already sucks.

Meow made me a jam sandwich for breakfast. I didn’t take it to work because it was just gonna be weird and squishy so I shoveled it into my mouth as I was putting on my shoes.

Today was the last day of the second to last week of school. It got more grueling as I got to the last class, then the last group of students. I wanted to say, “You suck. A+. Have a nice day.” and be done with it already. I might have just been hungry though.

When I came home, Meow showed me her new pets (thumbnail) gnawing away at the leaves she put in a bamboo basket. Apparently, silkworms will only eat one kind of leaf from one kind of tree and we have that tree growing in our yard. Because of this, the monks at one of Meow’s jobs gave her a paper bag of silkworms to take home today.
