Day 458

Thursday | May 30th, 2013

I don’t know what I screwed up today. I woke up super early and had difficulty getting back to sleep. I couldn’t wait to get out of bed and “do something”. Class left me wanting. My three office hours were gobbled up in a spacial rift. I hung on for a fourth hour. Walking off campus, DJ gave me a lift in a red car. Red cars are about as common as unicorns in Korea.

At home Meow and I talked about having MM as a house guest sometime next week and how this demands that we fix the outside bathroom. We will attempt to get this and a screen over my only window before next Thursday’s red day (red, the color of death and woe and government mandated days off).

I watched last of my Star Trek films, Star Trek XI, a.k.a rebooted Star Trek. I’m hungry for more. I will probably go to the theater to see Star Trek XII. I still felt like I had all the time in the world, like it was really Friday or something, so I made some biscuits too and discussed a real oven with Meow (this fall, so I can deal with my pie craving).

All of this will likely make tomorrow an ugly, unforgiving, and unwelcome experience. But next week is cake—two days of exam prep; two days off; one more day of exam prep; and two more days off—whatever tomorrow turns out as, I can take it.
