Oh Thursdays. Oh office hours. Oh gobs of idle. Oh the many distractions that only headphones and very loud music can stave. Oh the breakfast that was not there. Oh the horror of a lunch not eaten. Oh the embellishment of a dinner too big and too gorged upon. And … Oh woe be the heartburn I’ve yet to slacken.


GL had fake Lego on his desk. And here I thought all Lego people were yellow. Surely this will be the first firefighter to buy the farm at the flaming fertilizer plant.

I got my portfolio sorted and stocked and flagged the list of things yet to do—things I want to have done in the next two weeks so I only have exams and TOEIC on my plate come June. This semester has had me over a barrel since late March and I’m looking forward to having time to put everything in its proper place once again. (There’s the mound of vacation projects to deal with too.)
