Day 427

Monday | April 29th, 2013

Back at work today seems natural fitting. Where on Saturday I felt like an awkward bumpkin in the big city, being home yesterday and today felt like it was my city. My things, my place. As much as I know Seoul, it just wasn’t home anymore.

It’s now wrapped up and fitted to a special place in the back room of some brain shelf like all the other memories. Someday, if I leave Gyeongju the same thing will happen; the entirety of being here, of living here, of eeking out each day and all the moments of joy and haplessness will be compressed and stored and I’ll go on in my new place.

(Above, all) Same old, same old. Photographs are memories for the things I’ll forget. (And I will forget … someday.)

(And this set …) Twitchy and Naughty caught on camera in one of their wrestling matches. Since the infamous bloody head-crunch where Twitchy clamped Naughty’s head inside her mouth and drew blood from Naughty’s eye and face (way back yonder on Day 1!), she’s learned that she’s much bigger and has to play gently.
