Someone up at city hall must’ve gotten my memo, “Caleb has a bike.” I’m only speculating, but this seems to make the most sense because the park workers spent a lot of time laying a new ditch, then after they were done, came back a few days later and tore up the bike paths. So, they got the memo and laid a new green path and an adjacent brown path (hero image, top). They went the extra mile for King Caleb too and painted white stripes so I’ll be able to figure out where the paths end and the grass begins.

New rule: each time a student makes conversation with me and acts surprised when they ask me a retardedly simple question like, “What is your hobby?” and I make the time to answer honestly and say, “I like taking pictures.” and the student, lacking the skills to have had paid attention in all the weeks leading up to this moment fails the simple task of making a logical and appropriate follow-up question to my statement and goes, “Rearly?” or “Oooo!” or “Wow!” or “Really good!” or “Oh.” gets their picture taken there, at that moment of befuddlement. Whether the student can snap out of that befuddlement (above) or not.
