Day 396

What every Friday boy wants is to look at yet another photograph of a plate of red chard and broccoli piled upon it. Even lovely images of vegetables neigh high on their plate of death get old. I’m also choosing to spare myself the later indignity of writing today’s post on a day that is no longer actually Friday and thus enduring another tummy pang for leafy greens. Trust me, that is the true meaning of torture—wanting to eat nothing but a plate or bowl of vegetables and not being able to do so. It’s a tale wrought many a night, here in (some to be radioactive) South Korea.

So, yes, buffet, again. This time MS and I scooped up our wives downtown to show them with boyish glee and gusto our plates of vegetables and only vegetables. The ladies didn’t care though, so I believe the plan from here on out is to deny them entrance into our lunchtime debauchery of Vegetarianism. Korea is carnivore heaven; let them eat somewhere else and complain that the meat is meaty enough or whatever complaints were registered. The broccoli is fucking awesome. The chard is endless. The tofu is cooked just right. And the tater-tots apeases the festering junk-food worm in my gut.

And … then, what else did I do with my Friday? It doesn’t matter. I ate really well and I didn’t have to go into the office the next day. Friday is the new heaven.

The Daily Bullet

Vintage effect, hand-crafted in Photoshop—like in the old days before all this Instagram shit came along and made every noob’s snaps look better with “filters”. What effect might I call this?

How about: CCTV Low Scan TV Monitor.
