Day 330

Tuesday | January 22nd, 2013

Time is unravelling. And it’s still winter. There are no tasks. In having no tasks and not having anything to greet except a still working Meow, I did nothing all day. Everything I had to do, I did yesterday. I played Populous all day. There may or may not have been a tv show running on the other computer and that show may or may not have been not a show at all, but instead a movie. I’m not sure because it wasn’t important or interesting. It served it’s only function: to fill this untime with someTHINGness until a task comes along to give me purpose.

Six weeks of this shit. I think my head will explode. I did have a spark of work, upload a syllabi to the overlord computer system so students can pretend to grasp what their class will be about: talking. I did that. Easily and quickly. Then I did it again for MS who is occupied by time and task out of the country.

It was here at this point that I wrote down on my whiteboard all the things I could think of that I had to do before vacation was over. If planned carefully, each single task could eat enough of the untime that I could not unravel.

Once I had some sort of path I was free to go eat my rice and lentils and kimchi (just like yesterday!).
