Day 214

Friday | September 28th, 2012

Somedays are placeholders before other stuff can come along and happen. Days before vacations, strings of days off, or big events are like this. Work was similar, three placeholder hours clicking into place so everyone can run off to their families and play thanksgiving in the countryside for 3-5 days (depending on how one’s place of work treated the lowly non-red day sandwiched between all the red days).

On the eve of such beginnings, I take a slow way home. There are things to see and no where to be. It was a good time for a walk and the sun was just so, making the the light bounce and the colors come up. (No, I will not say “glow”.) It was a good walk home.
