Day 183

Tuesday | August 28th, 2012


Tuesday was a typhoon day. Strong winds and rain. Nothing like the doom predicted all over the tv in the two days leading up to the event. It was a betrayal. I was lied to by newscasters yet again.

In the wee hours I took Twitchy on a very long 5-6 kilometer walk because once the rain hit she would be cooped up and she needs more space than even our too large apartment can provide sometimes. She hates rain and getting wet, but doesn’t quite get that it is raining and that’s the reason we’re not taking her outside. It was a preemptive walk and she slept most of the day.

While the winds of Bolaven whipped the building for much of the day, I tinkered with files for next week’s vacation killer known as work. While Twitchy slept, a very jealous about not-going-on-the-special-walk last night Naughty gave me death stares all day.
