Day 120

Tuesday | June 26th, 2012


Had to believe four months have passed since we boxed everything up and moved the whole show from Seoul to Gyeongju. In doing so we massively leap-frogged several milestones in our 5 year plan which culminated with “move out of Seoul”. So here we are, now, out of Seoul and damn happy about that. We are continuing this leap-frogging in our ten year plan as other circumstances and opportunities have allowed things to be pushed up even further. Life is pretty good, then by those markers.

Time and circumstance put in me across the mosquito smoker-man’s path today (hero, above) and I got closer to the shot I’ve wanted since he made his seasonly appearance to inoculate summer. No one knows what the white smoke is; the smoker-man’s truck only dons apparatus, not markings. It smells like gasoline and walking through it reminds me of burning down ant hills or topping off the lawnmower halfway through the tall backyard grass.
