Day 118

Sunday | June 24th, 2012

Sunday morning a few people discovered (shockingly) that I like to sleep the morning. I hung up one at least one person once he understood I was sleeping. Maybe I hung up on everybody. It wasn’t just that I like to sleep in on a true day off, it was more the nailgun headache which centered around my left eye, traveled back around my left ear and trailed off down the back of my neck. I wished I was dead or had a real nailgun to fire into my skull to demolish the achy spots.

I had to roll into work for some work work, but even though I got there at 13.00, the work didn’t kick off until 14.30. Then there was a lot of drama work and not work before the work started gettin’ done. Needless to say, it was 21.30 before I pried myself out of my chair and went home, work still not done.

Between the stress headache, oversleeping, and piles of work not getting worked on, the day felt a lot more like just another CEC thang. Sometimes I wonder if coming here was the right thing to do, then I do something like look out in any direction and suck up some hills mountains and start feeling right about things again. (But a nailgun headache can shake that so easily …)

I felt lonely today. Talking with Meow made me feel a lot less lonely.
