Day 112

Monday | June 18th, 2012

I slept late today. With no language exchange in the morning to get to and the weekend still to recover from, while it sounded like a neat idea to wake up at the regular time and get stuff done, the SlumberMind intervened and snoozed all alarms to death. By the time I did get up, it was after 12.00. By the time I rolled into work it was after 14.30.

I had a nice walk to work though. I had intended to follow that up with an equally nice walk home—a sort of complete set for the day, but the rain came back. Slowly and slightly this time, but with removing my umbrella from the office on Friday, there was the punishment of not having one when it was needed. I was forced to take the bus home. In doing this, I completely forgot to get myself to the bank to put the paycheck in a place Meow could distribute it to its rightful places.
